- 1* Restaurant is in older shopping center and it does show the signs of wear & tear and I take off one star solely because I don't accept torn vinyl on bench seats being duct taped indefinitely as an acceptable repair and it is clear that maintenance is NEEDED! I am CERTAIN there should be more attention to detail in the way of deep cleaning those icky recesses, dark corners, cracks, crevices and easily gummed up areas (like under table edges) that just a quick wipe with sanitizer soaked rags DOES NOT clean sufficiently.

Thanks!

Best tasting home-cooked style food in the DFW area. And you can never go wrong with their pies and their cinnamon rolls. The staff was friendly if he glass is never empty and everything is fresh highly recommend.

Excellent, friendly service and truly delicious down home cooking that's fast and fun for the entire family. Bright, busy, smiling, and "eclectic collections meets the music of the 50's" atmosphere with many of the waitresses--like Lulu, my favorite--having 30+ years at Ginger Brown's. The place is packed on weekends...Sundays go EARLY.

Home-style diner with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Food is tasty but not always consistent, perhaps due to different cooks on different days. Large cinnamon rolls come as a dessert with many menu items and the selection of sides means everybody can find something!

Visited this site about 4 weeks ago. 12 people in our party. Expect some type of wait time due to this location's popularity. We experienced about 20 a minute or so wait time b/c of our party size combined with G/B's number of patrons. Once seated drink and food orders were taken promptly. Staff is friendly and attentive. Table and seats were clean. Did not have to request drink refills. Ordered poached eggs, bacon with biscuits and gravy. Eggs were prepared correctly IMO. Bacon is very good quality IMO. Gravy appeared to be fresh made apposed to jarred; again IMO. I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Best cinnamon buns ever! My wife and I were on vacation, and typically don't go to the same place twice while on vacation, to experience everywhere places have to offer, but we came here 3 times. Their pancakes are fluffy and amazing, and make sure you bring your quarters for their table top jukeboxes!
